This house features a typical through lounge/diner but lacks the space a growing family needs such as a downstairs cloakroom, somewhere to store the kids toys and a modern eating/living space which can create a light and airy feel.

By adding a 3m deep Serenity extension we can put the lounge at the back of the house with a view across your garden. The Serenity's folding/ sliding doors let light flood in and create a flexible outdoor/indoor feel during the summer time.
The new kitchen/diner can accommodate a much larger table which means the kids can be doing their homework while you're doing dinner. With some light remodelling we've even managed to find some space to hide the washing machine and tumble dryer in a utlity room. The playroom at the front of the house could also work as an office. This wider property needed a larger lounge, a playroom and a more open plan kitchen diner.
By placing the dining area in the new Regency Extension and opening the kitchen up with a half wall, we separate the chef and food preparation from their guests, while allowing conversation to flow freely between the two spaces.
We create a huge lounge and can afford room for a feature fireplace and the obligatory wide screen television. We can accommodate the children in a playroom which feeds off from the main lounge meaning they never feel too far away from the rest of the family. Close the playroom doors at the end of the evening and order is restored.
The Regency features double french doors which open wide and flush allowing you to mix and match which areas you want open at any one time. Large velux roof lights flood the space with natural light and the vaulted ceiling adds massively to the sense of space.
